The Gates of Infinity The foreboding gates of Infinity are imagined here by the artist. Some have commented that the drawing seems incomplete. Augustine says that he after spending three hours on this drawing he took a break. When he returned later he had no sense of how to finish the drawing. "I left it as is because there seemed to be no right way to finish the drawing without damaging it irrevocably," Augustine remarked. As he does his ink drawings by hand, he cannot use computers to fix any mistakes. As a result, he has many incomplete drawings and sketches.
