Fjord Duck
A duck floats in the icy waters of a lonely fjord. Yet in the images within the image, characteristic of Augustine's art, we see so many other themes at work. The Fjord Duck has been noted to function like an inkblot insofar as people project their inner desires, feelings, and neuroses into it. Reactions have ranged from seeing the drawing as indicative of healing, rage, hatred over the Christian ruination of the Nordic countries and their mythologies, and some have even seen a beautiful breast and nipple.
